About The Steel City Bookmarks Range

We pick these bookmark formats so they hold up in a school bag or a jacket pocket, keep your print sharp, and don’t curl or slide out of the book the week after you hand them over. Whether it’s a reading week, a book fair, or a new-starter pack, the aim is a bookmark people actually keep using.

Card that keeps its shape: Our 380gsm card holds flat far better than the thin stock you get on the cheapest bookmarks, so it won’t buckle after a fortnight in a bag. Printed full colour both sides, you get a branded face and a useful side without it feeling crowded.

Curl-resistant everyday pick: We recommend the Card Bookmark when you want a straightforward, lower-cost option that still looks smart. The sustainably sourced 380gsm card can be cut to any shape and prints full colour on both sides across the full 185 x 45mm, so one side carries your brand and the other your message.
Stays clipped in the book: The Shaped Magnetic Bookmark is the one to pick if it needs to survive daily use. Gloss laminated onto 300gsm card and cut to a shape on the front fold, the magnet grips the page so it doesn’t slide out, with a 92.5 x 55mm full-colour area for the artwork.
A bookmark people plant: The Seeded Paper Bookmarks are made from post-consumer waste and embedded with wildflower seeds, so they carry a genuine recycled story rather than a vague eco claim. Printed full colour across the 175 x 45mm face, and made in the UK for tighter timings.
Fun for younger readers: The Adman Bookmark tops the 173 x 45mm card with a fuzzy coloured hair character, which handles rougher classroom use and gets picked up. It comes in a wide range of hair colours, with a full-colour 130 x 45mm front for your branding.
Doubles as a desk tool: The Frei Sticky Notes Bookmark – Spot Colour pairs a wooden backing with 125 small and 25 large sticky notes plus imperial and metric rulers, so it earns its place on a desk rather than in a drawer. Branding is a single colour on a 45 x 45mm panel to keep the sign-off simple.
Engraved for a natural finish: The Frei Sticky Notes Bookmark – Engraved is the same practical index-tab set, with your logo engraved into the wooden backing instead of printed. Engraving sits into the grain and won’t scuff off with handling, which suits a longer-lasting desk giveaway.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best.
