About The Steel City Prodir Range

We supply Prodir pens because they write well and they last, which is the whole point of putting your logo on one. These are the barrels and refills we trust for bulk orders where the pen has to survive a bag, a pocket and months of daily use without turning scratchy or looking cheap.

Refills that keep writing: Every pen here comes with Prodir’s jumbo Floating Ball lead-free refill, and they’re all refillable. A pen that writes smoothly in a meeting stays on the desk. A scratchy one gets binned within a week, and your logo goes with it.
Print sized to the pen: Branding here sits in defined areas, from a 33 x 6mm clip up to a 50 x 25mm barrel on the DS3. We work to those areas and send a proof first, so a busy logo doesn’t turn up squashed onto a clip where nobody can read it.
Materials you can account for: These builds run from recycled ABS and oyster shell to plastic-free PHA biopolymer and mineral stone. If your team or clients ask what a pen is made from, you can point to exactly what’s in it rather than a vague eco claim.

Biodegradable body, push action: We recommend the Prodir DS8 True Biotic Ballpen when you want a clear sustainability story. The casing is a bio-based, non-toxic biopolymer that breaks down under natural conditions, it’s refillable, and we print a single colour on the 36 x 7mm clip.
Recycled shell with a metal clip: The Prodir DS5 Shell Ballpen is our pick when you want an eco credential that still feels considered. The twist-action barrel is 50 percent recycled ABS with 30 percent oyster shell, and the metal clip lifts it above a standard promo pen. Print area is 35 x 7mm on the clip.
Renewable material, room to brand: We choose the Prodir DS3 Biotic Ballpen when artwork needs space. It’s made from 100 percent renewable raw materials and gives you the largest area in the range, up to 50 x 25mm on the barrel, so a fuller logo sits clean rather than cramped on a clip.
Patterned matt barrel, everyday value: The Prodir Ballpen is the straightforward push-action choice for larger runs. The patterned matt barrel hides handling marks and comes in eight colours, with a 36 x 7mm clip print to keep the logo sharp.
Plastic-free PHA you can explain: We reach for the Prodir True Biotic Ballpen when a checkable material story matters. Its perforated honeycomb barrel is made from plastic-free PHA biopolymer, so you can give a straight answer on what it’s made from. Single-colour print on the 35 x 7mm clip.
Stone weight that stays put: The Prodir Stone Ballpen uses a mineral-enriched material with 60 percent less plastic and 50 percent more weight. That extra mass stops it feeling throwaway and keeps it sitting on the desk. We print a single colour on the 35 x 7mm clip.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service.
