About The Steel City Stylus Range

A stylus pen only earns its keep if people keep it on the desk and reach for it in meetings, so we pick barrels that write cleanly, work on a screen, and don’t crack once they’ve lived in a bag for a month.

Stylus and a proper ballpen: Every pen here pairs a capacitive stylus with a black-ink ballpen, so it tags a screen and still writes on paper. That’s the difference between a pen people use daily and one that gets binned as a gimmick.
Barrels that don’t flex: We lean on recycled aluminium and rubberised soft-feel bodies rather than thin plastic that bends in a pocket. A pen that still feels solid after a few weeks keeps your logo in circulation instead of the drawer.
Print, engrave or full colour: These take 1-colour print, full-colour print, or engraving on the metal barrels. Full colour suits a detailed logo; engraving on aluminium won’t scuff off the way a cheap coating does. We’ll show you a proof before anything runs.
Refillable, not throwaway: The soft-feel and aluminium pens are refillable and standardise on black ink, so recipients can top them up rather than replace them. It keeps the pen writing, and your branding seen, well past the first cartridge.
A visible recycled story: Several barrels are made from recycled aluminium or recycled cardboard, some carrying an engraved recycled symbol. If sustainability is part of your message, that’s a material people can see and handle, not a vague claim.
A starting point, not the ceiling: These are the stylus formats we keep coming back to for reliable writing and dependable timings, usually around 10-12 working days from artwork approval. If your quantity and dates allow, we can source colour-matched or bespoke barrels to the same standard – just ask.

Higher-value desk gift: We reach for the Recycled Aluminium Spinner Pen with Stylus when the send-out needs a bit more weight to it. The recycled aluminium barrel feels substantial, the spinning top on ball bearings gives people something to fidget with at the desk, and the Parker-style cartridge writes up to around 1,800m before it needs a refill.
Soft-feel with a lasting engrave: The Chili Concept Par-i Noir Soft Feel Stylus Ballpen – Engraved is our pick for long desk-life. It’s recycled aluminium with a coloured engraved finish that won’t wear off like print can, it’s refillable, and it comes in a kraft paper sleeve. Engraving sits in one position across a 50 x 7mm area on the 142mm barrel.
Detailed logo in full colour: If your artwork has fine detail or more than one colour, the Chili Concept Par-i Noir Soft Feel Stylus Ballpen – Full Colour is the one to pick. Full-colour print on the recycled aluminium barrel keeps the logo sharp, and the coloured stylus lets you tie the pen to your brand colours.
Bigger single-colour print: The Chili Concept Par-i Noir Soft Feel Stylus Ballpen – Spot Colour is the same refillable recycled-aluminium pen, printed in one colour across a wider 50 x 20mm area. It’s the value option when you’re matching a single Pantone and want the logo to read clearly without paying for full colour.
Recycled with a low unit cost: The Cardboard Stylus Ballpen – Spot Colour is the budget-friendly recycled choice. The recycled cardboard barrel stays rigid because the nib, clip and button are metal, so it writes cleanly instead of bending like a flimsy eco pen. Printed one colour across 40 x 20mm on the 144mm barrel.
Recycled barrel, full-colour print: When you want the recycled cardboard story but a fuller print, the Cardboard Stylus Ballpen – Full Colour takes full-colour print in one position on a 40 x 6.5mm panel. The metal trim keeps it feeling sturdier than a plain card tube, so it holds up in a welcome pack.

Very helpful! Helpful throughout buying process!

Exceptional service from start to finish. We ordered some branded plates and I have been so impressed with Steel City. We came to them with a short lead time for 138 plates and not only were they able to make this happen in the timeframe but the entire team were so helpful, communicative and reassuring throughout. I received the product today and it is even better then imagined. Fantastic quality. I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you all so much, especially Rowan and Georgia!

10/10 service from start to finish. Attention to detail, rapid service and delivery whole turnaround in 5 days including some changes. Competitive price. Will 100% use again

We ordered branded items for Aspects Holidays through Steel City. They were incredibly efficient, helpful and communicative throughout the process, from initial sales, through to design, production and delivery (which was quick!). I really could not fault them.

Lovely badges!

“Everything ran smoothly. Quote options were dealt with promptly, and advice was given when requested. I was informed of the handover to a named person to oversee the production, and I was kept informed at every stage of the process and given the tracking info when my order was out for delivery. I have total trust in Steel City to handle and produce great products. My client is also super happy with the final product..”

Excellent service from start to finish! They were quick to respond to all my queries and produced fantastic designs for my tote bags, notebooks, pens, lanyards, brochures, and banners. The whole process was smooth, professional, and the finished products exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality design and print services. Thank you!

Excellent products — durable and great quality. The service from all the staff was exceptional throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Steel City again and would definitely recommend them.

Second time ordering from Steel City. The team has been marvellous once again. Very attentive to my requests, and in this occasion - very short deadline. They were quick to respond, and delivered on time in spite of the challenge of time. Always respond quickly and very proactive. I highly recommend this company for any marketing needs. Their brouchure is full of ideas and nothing is out of reach. Thank you once again team!

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best. I can't thank James and the team enough and will absolutely be ordering from them again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

“Really happy with service from start to finish! Quick turnaround from ordering to receiving products.”

Steel City supplied magnets for us recently on behalf of one of our charity sector clients. Both David & Rowan from initial quote, through to overseeing the project itself were brilliant. Very pleased with the finished product, and quicker than initially expected. Thanks again, Marc

A huge thank you to Rowan and Debbie at Steel City for all their help with our new merchandise for our rebranding launch! They were a dream to work with, super friendly and responsive! I can’t recommend them enough!

Excellent customer service throughout the whole process - from initial contact through to delivery. I was kept informed at each stage. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks.

Ordered loads of branded merch from them (we're talking in the 1000s) multiple times over the past few years and they never fail to be absolutely spectacular with their customer service, general friendliness and their helpfulness! The merch is top notch quality, and will happily continue using Steel City for many orders to come! Hugely recommend!

We have ordered several branded products from Steel City, and we have been extremely impressed by both the quality of the products themselves and also the service we've received from their fantastic team. Georgia in particular has been brilliant - her friendly demeanour and genuine willingness to help us make the right decisions for our business made the entire process seamless. No question was too trivial, and no request was ever too much trouble for her. Steel City has earned our trust as a reliable and customer-focused company, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality branded products with exceptional service to match. Thanks guys!

I have known Steel City Marketing for many, many years and always find them extremely professional. The whole process: from responding to my initial inquiry; through to tracking delivery is managed in a super professional way. On top of that - they are lovely, friendly people ... highly recommended :-)

Seamless from start to finish. Very helpful company, brilliant product and delivery on time. Couldn't recommend more.

Good quality products, competitively priced with excellent communications throughout the whole process.

Fabulous fast and friendly service, cracking banner :)

Very helpful and friendly customer service, and great job on pin badges produced for our Freshers campaign

Absolutely A-1 in every area. From design, to communication, to delivery, processing, speed, quality of products - exceptional!

My first time using Steel City BM, what a great service, we delayed things and messed them about a bit but they still came up trumps, got the merchandise we wanted, printed with our Logos and delivered within the very short timeframe we gave them, excellent service. I would highly recommend using them

I am a repeat customer for a good reason and have been for years. Never let me down, courteous, friendly service, quality goods, lovely efficient firm to deal with (exemplary COMMUNICATION as well, which seems to be a commodity fast diminishing between client and supplier these days) and going forward I’ll be back again - at least twice a year with ever increasing volumes. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Great firm.

Really easy to work with and the merch was great quality

Recently sourced products from Steel City and couldn't be happier! From the initial enquiry to the delivery of the products, every step of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The quality is exceptional, the customer service is outstanding, and the delivery was prompt. I highly recommend them to any business looking for reliable, high-quality suppliers. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

Ordered a bulk order of 500 branded notepads on the Monday and they had been delivered on the Friday! Impressively fast. Great quality products, and the customer service is the best i've experienced- both Rowan the Sales Administrator and Debbie the Account Manager were excellent, very rapid email response with all the info needed. We will continue to use Steel City for our company's branded merch.

Can't rate the team at Steel City Marketing highly enough. I've ordered a few different promotional items just recently and every single time, from start to finish, the service from Georgia & Rowan in particular, has been first class. Each item we have had (leather key fobs, feather flags and printed bags) are of an excellent quality and have been produced to a very high standard. I've always been pleasantly surprised at the quality, speed and with the exceptional service this company has always fulfilled our orders.
