About The Steel City Corporate Wear Range

These are the layers your team wears all week, so we pick them for how they hold their shape and how the embroidery sits after a run through the wash – not just how they look on day one. If you wouldn’t wear it yourself, there’s no point putting your logo on it.

Collars that stay sharp: The oxford shirts here use a fused stand-up collar, so the front stays flat and doesn’t go soft and floppy after a few washes. That keeps your embroidery sitting cleanly on a shirt staff wear in front of customers.
Made to be laundered: These are 85% cotton oxford shirts and enzyme-washed or Merino-blend knits, chosen because they take repeat washing without pilling or bagging out. A cheaper poly shirt looks tired within weeks, and that reflects on you, not the supplier.
Embroidery, not print: The default branding on these is embroidery on the left chest, which is the right call on knitwear and structured shirts – it won’t crack or peel the way a print can on a garment that stretches and moves all day.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best.
