About The Steel City Herschel Range

We keep these Herschel styles on the shelf so you can brand a bag for a new starter, an event giveaway, or a client gift without ending up with soft embroidery, a bag that stays in a drawer, or an eco claim you can’t back up.

Embroidery that lasts: These are fabric bags that get dragged onto trains and dropped by desks, so we tend to embroider rather than print. Stitched thread holds up to straps and zips far better than a print that lifts, and we’ll advise a logo size that keeps the detail clean on a 40 x 30mm to 57 x 57mm area.
Recycled fabric you can name: The bodies here are 600D 100% EcoSystem recycled fabric, so if a buyer asks what the sustainability claim actually is, you have a straight answer rather than a vague eco label. The weave still feels structured, not the flimsy recycled fabric that puts people off.
Features that keep it in use: We choose models with padded laptop sleeves, bottle pockets and proper organisation, because a bag that fits the daily commute stays in rotation. The longer it’s carried, the more your logo is seen, instead of it living in a cupboard.
A proof before we print: We ask for high-res artwork and send you a digital proof to sign off first, so placement and colour are agreed before anything is stitched. On a premium bag that matters, because there’s no cheap reprint if the logo lands wrong.
Sizes for the job: The range runs from a 240 x 150 x 110mm travel kit up to a 43L duffle, so you can match the bag to how it travels. A toiletry kit posts as a thank-you gift, a backpack suits onboarding, and the duffle covers gym-to-office use.
A starting point, not the ceiling: These are the Herschel styles we come back to for reliable branding and dependable timings. If your quantity and dates allow, we can source other Herschel models to the same standard, so just tell us the brief.

Everyday onboarding backpack: We recommend the Herschel Classic Laptop Backpack for new-starter packs because the 26L body has a padded floating sleeve for a 15″/16″ laptop plus a separate bottle and front pocket, so it earns a place in the daily commute. The 57 x 57mm embroidery area is generous enough for a full logo without crowding it.
Gym-to-office duffle: The Herschel Novel Duffle Bag is the one we reach for when a bag needs to cover a weekend away and the gym, with a 43L body and a webbed padded shoulder strap that make it comfortable to carry loaded. It also has a 5 Day Express option on selected lines, which helps when your deadline is tight.
Grab-and-go work backpack: We picked the Herschel Retreat Recycled Laptop Backpack because the side zip access lets you pull a laptop without unpacking the whole 23L bag, and the two water bottle pockets keep it practical for work trips. The 60 x 40mm embroidery area gives your logo room to read clearly on the front.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best.
