About The Steel City Sunglasses Range

Branded sunglasses only work as giveaways if people actually wear them home, so we pick frames with proper sun protection and a print area that still reads at arm’s length in an event photo.

Protection on the spec sheet: We prioritise frames where the product data states UV400 and, where listed, EN ISO 12312-1 compliance. You’re handing out eyewear people wear for hours in the sun, so it should be backed by the written spec, not an assumption.
Logo that reads across a crowd: Print sits on the arms, typically 1-colour, with areas around 65-70mm wide. Sunglasses show a crooked or cramped logo the moment they’re on a face, so we check artwork against the print area and send a proof first.
Print method to suit the run: Most frames here take a pad print to the arms; the retro Sun Ray also comes in a full-colour option for a more detailed logo. We’ll talk you through which suits your artwork before anything goes to print.
Sizing you can plan a mailer around: Where dimensions are listed you can check the fit before you commit, so a fulfilment team can close onboarding boxes and postal mailers without crushing frames.
A recycled case to protect them: If the sunglasses are going in a premium kit, an rPET case keeps them from getting scratched in transit and adds a second, larger branding surface. It’s the easy upgrade when the eyewear is worth protecting.
A starting point, not the ceiling: These are the eyewear lines we keep coming back to for reliable protection specs and clean arm printing, usually around 10-12 working days from artwork approval. If your quantity and dates allow, we can source bespoke frames to the same standard – just ask.

Spec-backed sun protection: We use the Sun Ray Sunglasses – Full Colour as our baseline because the product data lists both UV400 and EN ISO 12312-1 compliance, so you’re not guessing what you’re putting in people’s hands. The full-colour print in one position lets a detailed logo sit clearly on the retro frame (150 x 145 x 50mm).
Single-colour, kinder on budget: The Sun Ray Sunglasses – Spot Colour is the same UV400, EN ISO 12312-1 frame, printed 1 colour on the right arm across a 70 x 7mm area. It’s the one to pick when you’re matching a single Pantone and want to keep the unit cost and the sign-off simpler for a big event run.
Mirrored lenses for outdoor staff: We point to the Mirror Sunglasses when the eyewear will be worn for long outdoor stretches. UV400 protection is listed, and a 1-colour pad print to both arms (65 x 8mm) gives you a logo area that still reads when people are moving around a stand or festival.
A talking-point tech piece: For a headline gift rather than a bulk handout, the Smart AI Glasses pair Bluetooth calling, a built-in camera and AI language translation, and ship with a USB-A to USB-C cable. Print is 1 colour in one position across 30 x 10mm, so keep the branding simple and let the product do the talking.
Protect the frames in transit: The Recycled Glasses Case – Full Colour is made from Como or Porto rPET with a magnetic closure, and it’s made in the UK. The large 150 x 50mm full-colour print area makes it a branding surface in its own right, so it’s the natural partner when your sunglasses go out in a premium kit.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service.
