About The Steel City Magnets Range

These are the magnets we choose for direct mail and event handouts – the ones that need to survive the post, get grabbed and wiped on a kitchen door, and keep your contact details readable months later.

Formats that earn their place: A magnet with a job – a shopping-list pad or a bookmark – stays on the fridge in a way a flat logo doesn’t. The list gets used up sheet by sheet, so your branding sits there for weeks rather than going straight in the drawer.
Readable contact details: Small print is where a magnet fails first, so at proof stage we check your phone number and any small text on the actual size, and flag anything that won’t hold. Better to catch it before the run than post out a number nobody can read.
Wipe-clean faces: These are laminated, so greasy fingerprints and scuffs wipe off a kitchen door rather than smearing your logo. That’s the difference between a magnet that still looks tidy at Christmas and one that’s grubby by spring.
Post-friendly flex: The flexible 0.4mm magnetic rubber composite bends without cracking, so a magnet in a mailer arrives flat rather than curled or split at the corner. It also keeps the envelope weight sensible.
UK-made repeat orders: These are made in the UK, so a repeat batch comes back matching the last one on cut and colour, and the supply line is short. That matters when you’re topping up a campaign mid-run.
Responsibly sourced paper: The paper faces here come from responsibly managed forests, and the list pad uses recycled paper, so there’s a defensible materials line without the magnet feeling flimsy.
A starting point, not the ceiling: These are the magnet formats we keep coming back to for clean print and reliable timings. If your quantity and dates allow, we can source a bespoke shape or size to the same standard – just ask.

List pad that keeps working: We recommend the Shopping List Fridge Magnet because the 24-sheet recycled-paper pad turns it into a tool people actually use, not just a logo. The magnet cuts to shape within 90 x 60mm and the full-colour face sits on an 86 x 54mm print area, so your branding stays on the fridge while the list does the work.
Photo-style full colour: The Photo Magnet is the one we reach for when the image matters – it’s paper-wrapped steel over a magnetic rubber core, printed full colour across 76 x 51mm, so a product shot or team photo lands crisp and sits flat on the door.
Shaped without the crack: The Midi Fridge Magnet cuts to any shape within 85 x 54mm on laminated 0.4mm magnetic rubber composite, so a logo-shaped magnet keeps a tidy cut line and resists whitening where fingers grab the edge. It’s a good middle size for a mailer.
Small and low cost: The 50mm Fridge Magnet is the budget pick for high volumes – a laminated square or round magnet cut within 50 x 50mm, full colour on the front, flexible enough to post flat. It’s the one for a big giveaway where unit cost counts.
Slim pack-in insert: The Shaped Magnetic Bookmark is our choice when you need something that survives being pushed into a pack – gloss laminated onto 300gsm card, printed full colour on both sides, and cut to shape on the front fold at 185 x 55mm, so it arrives straight rather than dog-eared.

Very helpful! Helpful throughout buying process!

Exceptional service from start to finish. We ordered some branded plates and I have been so impressed with Steel City. We came to them with a short lead time for 138 plates and not only were they able to make this happen in the timeframe but the entire team were so helpful, communicative and reassuring throughout. I received the product today and it is even better then imagined. Fantastic quality. I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you all so much, especially Rowan and Georgia!

10/10 service from start to finish. Attention to detail, rapid service and delivery whole turnaround in 5 days including some changes. Competitive price. Will 100% use again

We ordered branded items for Aspects Holidays through Steel City. They were incredibly efficient, helpful and communicative throughout the process, from initial sales, through to design, production and delivery (which was quick!). I really could not fault them.

Lovely badges!

“Everything ran smoothly. Quote options were dealt with promptly, and advice was given when requested. I was informed of the handover to a named person to oversee the production, and I was kept informed at every stage of the process and given the tracking info when my order was out for delivery. I have total trust in Steel City to handle and produce great products. My client is also super happy with the final product..”

Excellent service from start to finish! They were quick to respond to all my queries and produced fantastic designs for my tote bags, notebooks, pens, lanyards, brochures, and banners. The whole process was smooth, professional, and the finished products exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality design and print services. Thank you!

Great service from the team from recommendation of products through to design and delivery. Would highly recommend!

Excellent products — durable and great quality. The service from all the staff was exceptional throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Steel City again and would definitely recommend them.

Second time ordering from Steel City. The team has been marvellous once again. Very attentive to my requests, and in this occasion - very short deadline. They were quick to respond, and delivered on time in spite of the challenge of time. Always respond quickly and very proactive. I highly recommend this company for any marketing needs. Their brouchure is full of ideas and nothing is out of reach. Thank you once again team!

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best. I can't thank James and the team enough and will absolutely be ordering from them again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

“Really happy with service from start to finish! Quick turnaround from ordering to receiving products.”

Steel City supplied magnets for us recently on behalf of one of our charity sector clients. Both David & Rowan from initial quote, through to overseeing the project itself were brilliant. Very pleased with the finished product, and quicker than initially expected. Thanks again, Marc

A huge thank you to Rowan and Debbie at Steel City for all their help with our new merchandise for our rebranding launch! They were a dream to work with, super friendly and responsive! I can’t recommend them enough!

We have used Steel City a number of times and this order was no different - a fast, friendly and efficient service from start to finish! Highly recommended for any and all branded goods!

Excellent customer service throughout the whole process - from initial contact through to delivery. I was kept informed at each stage. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks.

Ordered loads of branded merch from them (we're talking in the 1000s) multiple times over the past few years and they never fail to be absolutely spectacular with their customer service, general friendliness and their helpfulness! The merch is top notch quality, and will happily continue using Steel City for many orders to come! Hugely recommend!

We have ordered several branded products from Steel City, and we have been extremely impressed by both the quality of the products themselves and also the service we've received from their fantastic team. Georgia in particular has been brilliant - her friendly demeanour and genuine willingness to help us make the right decisions for our business made the entire process seamless. No question was too trivial, and no request was ever too much trouble for her. Steel City has earned our trust as a reliable and customer-focused company, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality branded products with exceptional service to match. Thanks guys!

I have known Steel City Marketing for many, many years and always find them extremely professional. The whole process: from responding to my initial inquiry; through to tracking delivery is managed in a super professional way. On top of that - they are lovely, friendly people ... highly recommended :-)

Seamless from start to finish. Very helpful company, brilliant product and delivery on time. Couldn't recommend more.

Good quality products, competitively priced with excellent communications throughout the whole process.

Requirements met quickly, professionally and customer service was 100%. Well done to Georgia and Rowan

Fabulous fast and friendly service, cracking banner :)

Very helpful and friendly customer service, and great job on pin badges produced for our Freshers campaign

Absolutely A-1 in every area. From design, to communication, to delivery, processing, speed, quality of products - exceptional!

My first time using Steel City BM, what a great service, we delayed things and messed them about a bit but they still came up trumps, got the merchandise we wanted, printed with our Logos and delivered within the very short timeframe we gave them, excellent service. I would highly recommend using them

I am a repeat customer for a good reason and have been for years. Never let me down, courteous, friendly service, quality goods, lovely efficient firm to deal with (exemplary COMMUNICATION as well, which seems to be a commodity fast diminishing between client and supplier these days) and going forward I’ll be back again - at least twice a year with ever increasing volumes. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Great firm.

Really easy to work with and the merch was great quality

Recently sourced products from Steel City and couldn't be happier! From the initial enquiry to the delivery of the products, every step of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The quality is exceptional, the customer service is outstanding, and the delivery was prompt. I highly recommend them to any business looking for reliable, high-quality suppliers. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

Ordered a bulk order of 500 branded notepads on the Monday and they had been delivered on the Friday! Impressively fast. Great quality products, and the customer service is the best i've experienced- both Rowan the Sales Administrator and Debbie the Account Manager were excellent, very rapid email response with all the info needed. We will continue to use Steel City for our company's branded merch.

Can't rate the team at Steel City Marketing highly enough. I've ordered a few different promotional items just recently and every single time, from start to finish, the service from Georgia & Rowan in particular, has been first class. Each item we have had (leather key fobs, feather flags and printed bags) are of an excellent quality and have been produced to a very high standard. I've always been pleasantly surprised at the quality, speed and with the exceptional service this company has always fulfilled our orders.
