About The Steel City Bags by Brand Range

At Steel City, we know that when you put your logo on a product, you want it to be perceived as really good quality. We select branded bags by starting with what works in day-to-day use – avoiding split seams or poor zips. Our job is to suggest models that behave like high-quality retail bags, then manage the artwork and sourcing so you can order with confidence.

Known-size bag picks: Our shortlist focuses on recognisable bag makers and stated sizes (like 14-17″ laptop fits) because we know how important it is that the kit you’re handing out actually works. We want to avoid that moment where a laptop won’t fit or the bag looks too small. We ensure the bags are useful for the recipient in their working lives, so everything packs away properly.
Branding that stands out: We’ll make sure the printing, embroidery, or engraving matches the bag’s material perfectly, so your logo lands well and doesn’t wear away after the commute. If you’re ordering for a team, we ensure consistency across the whole run. You want your brand to be perceived as high quality, and we make sure the finish reflects that.
Clear lead times: We know lead time is a popular question, so we quote based on realistic turnarounds (including express options from 5-6 working days). We want to avoid any last-minute panic or the need to swap items. We’ll help you plan so that your bags arrive exactly when you need them, whether it’s for an event or a new starter welcome pack.
Genuine eco credentials: Sustainability is a real priority, so we recommend bags with named standards and trackable materials – like OEKO-TEX certified rPET and AWARE tracer tech. It’s really important that we don’t greenwash, so we provide concrete answers to “what is it made of?” helping you tick the right boxes for sustainability and traceability.
Useful features: We choose bags with compartments that people will actually use day-to-day – like padded laptop sleeves, organiser sections, and bottle pockets. We know that if a bag is practical and comfortable, it will be used time and time again. If the storage is right, it becomes a daily essential rather than something that gets left in a cupboard.
Retail-quality feel: Our range includes recognisable names and higher-spec fabrics because if you wouldn’t use the bag yourself, there’s no point putting your logo on it. We want to avoid bags that buckle or prints that crack. By doing the right thing up front and choosing strong products, we ensure the bag lasts and makes your brand stand out.
Bespoke options: These products are our suggested benchmarks for dependable quality. However, if you have the time and budget, we can take a consultative approach to source something bespoke. We’ll still apply the same rigorous checks to ensure you get exactly what you need without compromising on quality or ethics.

Big-laptop carry: We picked the Case Logic Reso 17 Inch Laptop Backpack – Full Colour because a stated 25L size and a true 17″ laptop format ensures it’s genuinely useful for the recipient. If you’re packing onboarding tech or event kit, this allows everything to be packed properly and keeps your branding in daily commuter view.
Protected tech: Our choice of the Case Logic Advantage Laptop and Tablet Bag – 1 Colour comes down to the padded 14″ laptop sleeve and organiser panel, which is perfect for keeping tech safe. If you’re handing these out in welcome packs, this lets you include chargers, notebooks and devices knowing they will be well-protected.
Shoe-separated travel: We chose the Herschel Novel 43L Recycled Duffle Bag because the volume plus a dedicated shoe compartment makes it a product people will want to use again and again. If you’re gifting for travel or team rewards, this ensures it’s a bag they can rely on, rather than one that gets left behind.
Two-mode commuting: Our pick of the XD Design Bobby Bizz 2.0 Anti-Theft Backpack and Briefcase comes from the 2-in-1 layout, which adapts to how people actually work. If you move between the commute and meetings, this keeps your kit secure and your branding on a bag that looks professional in a boardroom.
Fast eco options: We chose the Chili Concept Onda Roll Up Backpack – Engraved because the Waste2Gear ocean-bound plastic story plus a 5-day lead time is great for hitting those urgent deadlines. If you’re working to an event date, the 15″ laptop fit and engraved branding keeps it subtle and high-quality.
Maximum exposure: Our team recommends the Green & Innocent Ninga rPET Recron GreenGold Bag – 1 Colour because Recron® GreenGold rPET gives you full traceability, and the large print area ensures your brand really stands out. If you’re ordering for an exhibition, the size makes it incredibly useful for attendees, while backing up your sustainability message.

Exceptional service from start to finish. We ordered some branded plates and I have been so impressed with Steel City. We came to them with a short lead time for 138 plates and not only were they able to make this happen in the timeframe but the entire team were so helpful, communicative and reassuring throughout. I received the product today and it is even better then imagined. Fantastic quality. I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you all so much, especially Rowan and Georgia!

10/10 service from start to finish. Attention to detail, rapid service and delivery whole turnaround in 5 days including some changes. Competitive price. Will 100% use again

We ordered branded items for Aspects Holidays through Steel City. They were incredibly efficient, helpful and communicative throughout the process, from initial sales, through to design, production and delivery (which was quick!). I really could not fault them.

Lovely badges!

“Everything ran smoothly. Quote options were dealt with promptly, and advice was given when requested. I was informed of the handover to a named person to oversee the production, and I was kept informed at every stage of the process and given the tracking info when my order was out for delivery. I have total trust in Steel City to handle and produce great products. My client is also super happy with the final product..”

Excellent service from start to finish! They were quick to respond to all my queries and produced fantastic designs for my tote bags, notebooks, pens, lanyards, brochures, and banners. The whole process was smooth, professional, and the finished products exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality design and print services. Thank you!

We've used Steel City for some physical collateral, not only is this of fantastic quality but the service and communication is impeccable. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a full end-to-end service.

Great service from the team from recommendation of products through to design and delivery. Would highly recommend!

Excellent products — durable and great quality. The service from all the staff was exceptional throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Steel City again and would definitely recommend them.

Second time ordering from Steel City. The team has been marvellous once again. Very attentive to my requests, and in this occasion - very short deadline. They were quick to respond, and delivered on time in spite of the challenge of time. Always respond quickly and very proactive. I highly recommend this company for any marketing needs. Their brouchure is full of ideas and nothing is out of reach. Thank you once again team!

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best. I can't thank James and the team enough and will absolutely be ordering from them again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

“Really happy with service from start to finish! Quick turnaround from ordering to receiving products.”

Steel City supplied magnets for us recently on behalf of one of our charity sector clients. Both David & Rowan from initial quote, through to overseeing the project itself were brilliant. Very pleased with the finished product, and quicker than initially expected. Thanks again, Marc

A huge thank you to Rowan and Debbie at Steel City for all their help with our new merchandise for our rebranding launch! They were a dream to work with, super friendly and responsive! Communication was absolutely on point throughout the whole process, which made everything run so smoothly. The merch looks fantastic and really brought our new brand to life. I can’t recommend them enough!

These guys are super. They are all very personable and incredibly easy to work with, and will stop at nothing to make sure the order is exactly right. We have made three orders from them now and have been really pleased each time.

A really quick turnaround and they were happy to do whatever changes were needed. Amazing service, thank you so much!

Great service from the whole team from ordering, through fulfilment to billing. Staff were all friendly and accommodating to our needs and made great suggestions to our order - thank you. Will use again!

I ordered name badges from Steel City, the communication from Rowan and the final product were first class, I will definitely use them again.

We have used Steel City a number of times and this order was no different - a fast, friendly and efficient service from start to finish! Highly recommended for any and all branded goods!

Excellent customer service throughout the whole process - from initial contact through to delivery. I was kept informed at each stage. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks.

Ordered loads of branded merch from them (we're talking in the 1000s) multiple times over the past few years and they never fail to be absolutely spectacular with their customer service, general friendliness and their helpfulness! The merch is top notch quality, and will happily continue using Steel City for many orders to come! Hugely recommend!

We have ordered several branded products from Steel City, and we have been extremely impressed by both the quality of the products themselves and also the service we've received from their fantastic team. Georgia in particular has been brilliant - her friendly demeanour and genuine willingness to help us make the right decisions for our business made the entire process seamless. No question was too trivial, and no request was ever too much trouble for her. Steel City has earned our trust as a reliable and customer-focused company, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality branded products with exceptional service to match. Thanks guys!

I have known Steel City Marketing for many, many years and always find them extremely professional. The whole process: from responding to my initial inquiry; through to tracking delivery is managed in a super professional way. On top of that - they are lovely, friendly people ... highly recommended :-)

Seamless from start to finish. Very helpful company, brilliant product and delivery on time. Couldn't recommend more.

Good quality products, competitively priced with excellent communications throughout the whole process.

Requirements met quickly, professionally and customer service was 100%. Well done to Georgia and Rowan

Fabulous fast and friendly service, cracking banner :)

Very helpful and friendly customer service, and great job on pin badges produced for our Freshers campaign

Absolutely A-1 in every area. From design, to communication, to delivery, processing, speed, quality of products - exceptional!

My first time using Steel City BM, what a great service, we delayed things and messed them about a bit but they still came up trumps, got the merchandise we wanted, printed with our Logos and delivered within the very short timeframe we gave them, excellent service. I would highly recommend using them

I am a repeat customer for a good reason and have been for years. Never let me down, courteous, friendly service, quality goods, lovely efficient firm to deal with (exemplary COMMUNICATION as well, which seems to be a commodity fast diminishing between client and supplier these days) and going forward I’ll be back again - at least twice a year with ever increasing volumes. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Great firm.

Really easy to work with and the merch was great quality

Recently sourced products from Steel City and couldn't be happier! From the initial enquiry to the delivery of the products, every step of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The quality is exceptional, the customer service is outstanding, and the delivery was prompt. I highly recommend them to any business looking for reliable, high-quality suppliers. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

Ordered a bulk order of 500 branded notepads on the Monday and they had been delivered on the Friday! Impressively fast. Great quality products, and the customer service is the best i've experienced- both Rowan the Sales Administrator and Debbie the Account Manager were excellent, very rapid email response with all the info needed. We will continue to use Steel City for our company's branded merch.

Can't rate the team at Steel City Marketing highly enough. I've ordered a few different promotional items just recently and every single time, from start to finish, the service from Georgia & Rowan in particular, has been first class. Each item we have had (leather key fobs, feather flags and printed bags) are of an excellent quality and have been produced to a very high standard. I've always been pleasantly surprised at the quality, speed and with the exceptional service this company has always fulfilled our orders.
