About The Steel City Gloves Range

Gloves are one of those items that only work if they get worn, so we choose them around how the branding survives the fabric and whether people can keep them on to use a phone – the two things that usually let a glove giveaway down.

Fingertips that work a phone: The knit style has touchscreen fingertips, so nobody has to pull a glove off to check a map or a ticket and then lose it. That’s usually the main reason gloves get taken off and left behind.
Embroidery that holds on knit: On the knit gloves we embroider the logo up to 43 x 43mm rather than printing it. Stitching sits into the fabric and won’t crack or fade the way a print can on a stretchy knit, so it still looks right after a winter of wear.
One size, simpler to hand out: The touchscreen gloves are one size, which takes the sizing headache out of a giveaway – you’re not chasing a size spread before an event or a mailer.
Branding on the ball marker for golf: The golf glove carries your logo in full colour on a detachable ball marker, so the branding goes onto the green with the player rather than being lost inside a glove nobody sees close up.
A proof before we start: We send a digital proof before anything’s stitched or printed, so you can check the logo size and position on the glove first. That’s how we avoid artwork turning up cramped or off-centre.
A starting point, not the ceiling: These are the gloves we reach for when branding needs to last a season. If your quantity and dates allow, we can source other glove styles, colours or finishes to the same standard – just ask.

Kept on for the phone: We recommend the Tom Franks Touchscreen Smart Gloves as the everyday winter option, because the touchscreen fingertips mean they stay on while people check a phone – which is when your branding actually gets seen. They’re one size and come in blue, grey or red, and we embroider your logo up to 43 x 43mm so it holds on the knit rather than cracking like a print would. There’s a 5 Day Express option for when your deadline’s tight.
For the golf day: The Footjoy WeatherSof Golf Glove is the one for a golf-focused campaign – a synthetic and leather FiberSof glove available for right and left handed players, so you’re giving players a glove they’d genuinely choose. Your logo prints full colour on the detachable 19mm ball marker, which travels onto the green and keeps the brand in play through the round.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service.
