Rowan and Georgia BR Chamber Awards

Press Release:

Steel City Marketing is delighted to share that the business was shortlisted for Small Business of the Year at the 2025 Barnsley & Rotherham Business Awards – and has also been recognised with a 45-year “Salute to Business” award for its long-standing service to the region.

Representing the company on the night were Rowan Andrews (Sales Administrator) and Georgia Brookes (Sales & Production Assistant), with Rowan taking to the stage to collect the Salute to Business award on behalf of Steel City.

Reflecting on the recognition, Managing Director James Biggin said:
“To be shortlisted alongside so many great businesses in South Yorkshire is a real honour, and receiving the Salute to Business after 45 years is something that belongs to everyone who’s been part of Steel City. It shows that hard work, consistency and dedication truly count – and it’s a wonderful reminder of how far we’ve come together.”

Steel City also extends heartfelt congratulations to all the brilliant businesses across the region who were shortlisted and celebrated on the night. You can read the full list of winners and finalists on the BR Chamber website here.

The milestone represents far more than longevity. It highlights Steel City’s commitment to its clients, community and team through changing times, shifting markets and evolving needs. This recognition strengthens the company’s commitment to continue delivering creative, high-quality and tailored promotional solutions for its clients, and to keep innovating, growing and supporting businesses across South Yorkshire and beyond.

Steel City extends its thanks to everyone who has supported the business along the way. The team is incredibly proud of how far the company has come and is excited for what lies ahead.
