About The Steel City Eco Ice Scrapers Range

These are the scrapers we hand out for a winter campaign or a motor-trade mailer – chosen for how they clear a windscreen at 7am, not just how they photograph, so your logo ends up in a glovebox that’s actually reached for.

Wide edge that lifts ice: We favour the wider blades because they clear glass in fewer passes. That means less forcing and scraping, which is when a thin edge chatters and puts fine scratches into the windscreen.
A grip that holds in the cold: Thumb-grips and proper handles matter most when hands are cold or gloved. A shape that stays put is what stops the slip-and-twist that snaps the cheaper scrapers on the first hard frost.
Print areas we proof first: We work to set areas, from a 45 x 25mm engraving on bamboo up to 70 x 40mm full colour, and we’ll send a proof before anything runs – so your logo sits centred rather than crowding the blade.
A material story you can back: Several of these are GRS certified recycled plastic, so you have a straight answer when someone asks about the eco credentials, instead of a vague claim you can’t evidence.
Sizes for how you send them: The range runs from a wallet-sized card for letterbox mailers to a full-size scraper for daily drivers. We’ll match the format to how it’s going out, so it isn’t too bulky to post or too small to be useful.
A starting point, not the ceiling: These are the scrapers we keep coming back to for reliable print and dependable timings, often around 10-12 working days from artwork approval. If your quantity and dates allow, we can source bespoke sizes or materials to the same standard – just ask.

Full-colour everyday scraper: We recommend the Arctic Ice Scraper – Full Colour as the everyday choice – a wide-edge thumb-grip scraper in GRS certified recycled plastic, 221 x 108mm, with a 70 x 40mm full-colour panel that holds a detailed logo cleanly. It’s the one to pick when you want the material claim and the print to both stand up.
Single-colour, kinder on budget: The Arctic Ice Scraper – Spot Colour is the same 221 x 108mm recycled-plastic scraper, just printed in one colour on a 65 x 30mm area. Reach for it if you’re matching a single Pantone colour and want to keep the print cost and the sign-off simpler.
Long reach, sponge grip: The Ice Scraper Sponge Handle runs to 270 x 108mm, so there’s more handle to hold and more reach across a big windscreen. The print area is a compact 28 x 16mm, which suits a clean single-colour logo rather than fine detail.
UK-made and built to keep: The Moso Bamboo Ice Scraper is the premium option – 5mm-thick UK-manufactured bamboo with a long handle, engraved on the front across 45 x 25mm. It feels like a tool someone keeps rather than a throwaway, and the bamboo gives you a genuine sustainability angle over plastic.
Wallet-size backup: The Credit Card Ice Scraper Key Ring is the one for letterbox mailers and welcome packs – at 85 x 60mm it drops into a wallet or an envelope, has a metal split ring, and takes a single-colour 65 x 35mm print. It’s a handy keep-it-in-the-car backup that earns its place on a keyring.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble.
