We are absolutely ecstatic to have been announced as the ‘Above and Beyonder’ Best Professional Services Winners at the Sheffield Business Awards 2022.
The glittering ceremony took place at the popular Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield, on December 8th 2022. We were alongside hundreds of other people, to honour the inspirational businesses and individuals making waves in the Sheffield business scene. Hosted by Sheffield-born comedian Tom Wrigglesworth, and catered by Michelin Guide restaurant Jöro, the night was one to remember!
With over 150 applications this year for the 15 awards, each category was whittled down to a shortlist of the three best entries and the overall winners announced on the night. The awards were judged by a number of high-profile businesspeople and experts from across the region, who said the quality of applications was extremely high.
The Best Professional Services award is all about delighting customers, which is what we strive to do at Steel City every day! As the winners, we had to demonstrate how we have shown excellence in our specific sector and how we have planned for future growth. Receiving this award is very special to everyone at Steel City, not just because we are a Sheffield business, but because we work hard to ensure our customers have a brilliant experience with us. It also makes a hat trick of awards for this year, following winning the BPMA Marketing Campaign of the Year and the BR Chamber Excellence in Customer Service award.

Like the BR Chamber Awards, we also supplied the branded awards for the Sheffield Business Awards! (Again, we weren’t privy to the winners though – that was kept top secret!). An Optical Crystal Mounted Diamond award was selected, engraved with the winners and sponsors names. With highly polished cut edges, they are a luxurious choice, presented in a presentation gift box.
