At Steel City, we suggest sticky notes and desk sets that we know will stay put on the desk and get used day-to-day. It’s about ensuring your logo is seen time and time again, while maintaining that consistent quality you need when you come back to reorder.

When you’re buying something as simple as a pad, we want to avoid the usual pitfalls: the size feeling wrong, the print area being wasted, or the artwork not landing well. We take a consultative approach to iron those risks out before you commit.

Pad size that feels right: We focus on the sizes people actually notice and use in their working lives (like 75×75, 100×100, 105×75, 125×75). Whether it’s 1 colour or full colour, we help you choose a pad that fits the desk space and your artwork, so you aren’t guessing from a screen or losing valuable brand exposure.
Formats people keep nearby: We always put forward items that are useful. We favour adhesive pads (often 50 sheets), combi sets with extra page markers, plus A5/A6 notebooks with all the extras like elastic closures and pen loops. That mix holds up for daily grabbing and meeting notes, rather than flimsy sets that might get hidden away in a drawer.
Print areas we control: It’s really important that your branding is perceived as good quality. We stick to known print areas (e.g., 71×71mm, 96×96mm, up to notebook covers at 206×136mm) so we’re not improvising. This keeps your branding clear, centred, and away from trims, ensuring your logo stands out and is easy to read.
Proof before production: We back you every step of the way. We always provide a visual proof for you to approve so you can check logo position, scale, and colour before we proceed to production (typically 5-15 working days from approval).

While we have our averages, we keep selected lines available with faster turnarounds (including 3-day and 5-day options) if you have an urgent event. We can usually make something work to ensure you hit your deadline without compromising on impact.
Paper specs you can stand behind: Sustainability is a real priority. We prioritise paper described as responsibly sourced from sustainably managed forests, with certification available on request, alongside straightforward stocks like 80gsm white/ivory and 90gsm kraft recycled paper. It’s important we don’t greenwash, so we give you the credentials you need to tick your sustainability boxes.
Standard first, bespoke after: We’ll steer you towards reliable sizes and print positions first because we know they work and offer great consistency. However, if your budget and lead time allow, we can absolutely look at bespoke formats to get you a solution that is unique to your brand.

Branding on every sheet: We recommend NoteStix Standard Adhesive Pads 105 x 75mm – Full Colour (Sticky Notes) because the full-colour print runs on every sheet, not just the cover. The defined 101 × 71mm print area keeps your branding readable even when the note travels to a monitor or a laptop lid.
Bigger square print: Our choice of NoteStix Maxi Square Adhesive Pads 100 x 100mm – 1 Colour comes down to space: 96 × 96mm gives your logo room to breathe. It really helps your brand stand out on the desk without looking cramped or squeezed into a corner.
Hardback that survives: We suggest the NoteStix Hardback Combi Set – Full Colour (Sticky Notes) because the hardback cover means it’s going to last. It prevents the set from bending after repeated use, keeping the pads and page markers useful day-to-day rather than looking tatty after a week.
Kraft stock that prints clean: We specify NoteStix Kraft Recycled Adhesive Pads 75 x 75mm with 90gsm kraft recycled paper and full-colour printing because brown stocks can sometimes make logos look dull. Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service.
