At Steel City, we know that when you put your brand on a product, you want it to be perceived as really good quality. That’s why we only suggest socks where the knit, colours, and fit hold up long after they’ve been worn and washed.

Whether it’s for new starter welcome packs, events, or internal rewards, we want to avoid those common frustrations – like logos that crack or cuffs that slide – and give you a product your team will actually want to wear day-to-day.

Knitted-in logo durability: We always recommend knitted-in jacquard branding (up to 4 colours). Because the design sits in the knit, it stays intact through repeat wear and wash cycles, unlike surface prints that can flake. It ensures your brand looks consistent across the whole team, rather than looking tired after a few weeks.
Above-shoe branding space: We put forward crew styles with a generous all-over design area (templates up to 200 x 190mm) so your branding stays visible above trainers and shoes. Wearable fabric blends: We focus on bamboo/poly/spandex and cotton/poly/spandex blends because they stay soft, breathe better, and stretch without feeling tight. Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service. The team, specifically Rowan and David, were absolutely first class! They went above and beyond, making it seem like nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to their efforts, the jacket will now be delivered on Wednesday—a whole day before we need it for filming! This is old-school customer service at its very best.
