We select Result outerwear much like we’d choose kit for our own team. It’s about finding those styles that actually handle UK weather properly, and then managing the branding so you don’t end up with jackets that sit in a cupboard or logos that don’t do your brand justice.

Season-right layers: We’ve chosen a mix of softshells, fleeces, and padded jackets because we know every day is different, and it allows you to give your team the right layer for a cold start, a wet afternoon, or those indoor/outdoor shifts, rather than buying one jacket that just doesn’t quite fit the job.
Repeatable chest branding: It’s really important that the branding lands well, and our proofing process checks logo size and placement against real seams and zips so that left-chest position remains consistent across the order, ensuring clean front panels so your branding doesn’t drift into awkward placements when the team is together.

UK-weather shell choices: We prioritise shells with windproof, breathable TPU membranes, and then step up to fully waterproof options for those outside all day – it’s about avoiding that trade-off where a jacket is either clammy when you’re moving, or letting the rain in when you’re standing still.
Sizing people can work in: We look for lines that run up to 4XL and include women’s fits on key styles because you want your team to feel comfortable and part of the business, and tight jackets just slow people down, while proper sizing means the kit moves correctly when people are lifting, driving, or working with tools.

Proper rain spec: We’ve picked the Result Genuine Recycled Three Layer Printable Softshell Jacket because the 8000mm waterproof / 1000g breathable spec handles long wet days far better than lighter “showerproof” options, and it also uses a YKK zip to reduce the chance of zip failures which is vital for items getting daily use.

Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule. In a panic, I called James's team at 3:05 PM that same Friday, honestly expecting a firm "no." However, I was met with unbelievably helpful and flexible service.
