When you’re ordering for events, onboarding, or sustainability-led campaigns, our suggestions focus on print that stays readable, materials that we can explain plainly to you, and lead times that you can actually plan around.

Useful desk tools, not gimmicks: I will always put forward items that I think are useful. Our decision to focus on pens, rollerballs, highlighters, and pencils keeps the item doing a job on a desk instead of becoming a novelty shape that gets binned. Refillable options and long-life refills keep the same unit in circulation so your branding gets seen time and time again.
Readable print zones: We prioritise barrels and wrap areas with clear sizes (including larger wraps up to 110 × 26mm and common barrel areas like 50 × 20mm) because we know a tiny print turns your logo into a thin, unreadable strip. This keeps your artwork big enough to read clearly when it’s clipped to a notebook or grabbed in a hurry.
Branding that holds up: We offer 1-colour print, full-colour print, and engraving with stated print placements because we want the method to match the product. We want to avoid the usual failures – like fine detail filling in or branding rubbing off after repeated use. It’s about making sure your brand stands out for the right reasons.
Proof-controlled positioning: We’ll always provide a proof before production so you can sign off on the artwork and placement. We count lead times from your approval (typically 3-15 days), so you’re planning from the point the design is signed off, rather than a vague order date.
No Greenwashing: It’s really important that we don’t greenwash. We include options where we can state what the plastic actually is – whether that’s recycled ABS, rPET, GRS-certified recycled aluminium, or a named reclaimed source. It allows you to repeat the material story honestly, avoiding “eco” claims that don’t tie back to a traceable source.
Fast-turn options: We know deadlines can be tight. By keeping 3-7 day routes alongside standard production, we give you a workable fallback if your event date moves or approvals take longer. It reduces the risk of missing the date because we’ll be honest about the production slot.
A shortlist you can extend: These options are our baseline for legible print and day-to-day usefulness, so you can order without overthinking it. If your job needs a specific Pantone match or a different material brief, we’ll take a consultative approach to source beyond this list while keeping the same high standards.

Contour Extra Ballpen – 1 Colour: We picked this because its 60 × 8mm branding area keeps your logo readable on a pen people are actually going to grip all day. A 5-day lead time also helps you schedule event stock without gambling on long production gaps.
BIC Super Clip Ecolutions Ballpen – 1 Colour: Our choice comes down to two things you can verify: a stated 83% recycled materials claim and a 40 × 20mm branding area that stops cramped print. That combination lets you talk about the material without vague “green” language while keeping the logo clear on the clip-and-barrel format people carry.
Frosty rPET Highlighter – Full Colour: We selected this because rPET gives you a plain recycled-plastic story and full-colour printing keeps multi-colour branding sharp on a large, desk-visible body. This avoids the common giveaway problem where a scuffed casing and weak print make the item look tired after a week in a pencil case.
Berk Recycled Ballpen: We include this because a 3-day lead time from proof approval keeps onboarding packs moving when you’re up against start dates. The recycled carton/corn-plastic material story also gives you something specific to say, rather than “eco plastic” with no detail.
Alaska Frost Ballpen – 1 Colour: Our reason for choosing this is simple: the 1 Day Express Delivery option gives you a real last-minute route, and the 45 × 20mm branding area stops the “fast pen, tiny logo” trade-off. Just wanted to share some overwhelmingly positive feedback about James and his incredible team. I recently placed a very small, but crucial, order for an embroidered puffa jacket. My original supplier completely let me down, calling late on a Friday afternoon (3:00 PM) to push the committed delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday, which was too late for our filming schedule.
