- 5-day turnaround control: We know lead times are a really common question. By keeping this range on a “5 Days From Artwork Approval” schedule, we can ensure the pens move quickly once you’ve signed off the proof. This helps you hit event dates without having to switch to a different model at the last minute, avoiding that panic of just buying “whatever’s in stock” and risking your branding consistency.
- Proof-first print lock: We will always provide you with a proof before production – nothing goes to print without your approval. This step allows us to check the print placement and size before anything gets boxed, reducing the risk of logos being too small, off-centre, or sitting awkwardly on a curved barrel when the order arrives.
- Readable branding areas: It’s really important that your logo lands well. We’ve only included options with stated 1-position branding areas (full colour, 1 colour print, or engraving) to ensure the space actually takes ink cleanly. If your logo has fine text or thin lines, this helps you choose a method that keeps it legible when someone is holding the pen at a normal writing distance.
- Sleeved transit protection: We always suggest items that will arrive in perfect condition. We prefer models supplied in a Kraft sleeve because it stops barrels rubbing together in the box and picking up scuffs before you’ve even handed them out. If you’re using these in welcome packs or sending them by post, that sleeve ensures the pen doesn’t arrive loose and marked.
- Grip-led barrel finishes: If you wouldn’t use the product yourself, there’s no point in handing it out. - Consistent 1-colour reorders: Our pick of the Chili Concept Nolo Ballpen – 1 Colour uses a defined 35 × 20mm 1-colour barrel print. This means the logo size and placement stay repeatable when you top up stock. If you’re ordering in batches, that controlled spec stops the frustration of “same pen, different looking branding.”
- Engraving that won’t rub off: We’ve put forward the Chili Concept Blade Soft Feel Recycled Ballpen – Engraved option with a 30 × 7mm engraving area because engraving doesn’t wear away like surface print when the pen lives in pockets and bags. It leaves a lasting impression that stays readable without flaking.
- Refillable onboarding staple: We always steer clients towards items that are useful for the long term. We recommend the Chili Concept Pegi Soft Feel Ballpen – Engraved because the refillable build and 40 × 6mm engraving give you a pen you can keep using rather than treating as disposable.
