At Steel City, we know that if you’re going to put your logo on a product, it needs to be useful and it needs to last. When you’re issuing kit for a site, a welcome pack, or an event, the torch has to switch on first time, be easy to carry, and keep your branding looking sharp even after weeks of day-to-day use.

Pocket-ready formats: We stock a range of sizes to suit exactly what you need, from flat keyring torches for quick giveaways to aluminium rechargeables for staff-issue kit. We’ve selected these to solve that common dilemma of finding something that is robust enough for the job but not too bulky for a pocket or bag.
Engraving that lasts: We often suggest laser engraving on our aluminium options because it gives a really high-quality finish where the branding sits in the surface rather than on top of it. It means your logo stays readable even after daily wear and tear. We do offer printed options too, but we’ll only recommend them where the print area and usage make sense for the product.
Centred on compact bodies: It’s really important that your brand looks its best, even on smaller items. We stick to products with fixed, clear branding positions (e.g., 15mmØ, 20 × 8mm, 30 × 20mm) so your artwork fits the torch body perfectly without getting clipped at the edge. This avoids any risk of your logo looking off-centre or squeezed.
Proof-first placement: As with all our orders, we always provide you with a proof before production. We use the actual print or engrave area for that specific model, so you can sign off the scale and placement and be totally happy with it. This stops cramped artwork turning into a dark block on a small torch face.
Faster lead-time options: We know that lead times are a popular question, especially when you have a deadline approaching. We keep short lead-time torches in the mix, including options as fast as 5 working days from artwork approval and a UK-made express route on one model, so you don’t have to compromise on quality for a quick turnaround.
Batteries or recharge: There is nothing worse than a gadget that doesn’t work out of the box. We pick models that ship with batteries (AAA or button cells) included, and we also offer rechargeable aluminium options. It just means the torch is ready to go the moment you hand it over.
Stated brightness specs: For clients who need these for specific working environments – like stairwells or outdoor call-outs – we prioritise torches with stated lumen outputs (e.g., 132-300 lumens) and additions like IPX4 splash resistance. We want to make sure the product cuts through the dark and does exactly what you need it to do.
Bespoke Sourcing: These product picks are our starting point – the standards we use to anchor the range – but if you have a specific requirement, we can use our experience to source bespoke torch options when your lead time and volume allow.

Readable front print: We often recommend the Flat LED Torch Key Ring – 1 Colour because the 40 × 12mm print area gives your logo plenty of room to stay legible on a keyring format. It ships with 3 × LR1130 batteries, so when you’re handing these out at events, they work straight away.
Crisp full colour: If your brand guidelines require a multi-coloured logo, our pick is the LED Torch Key Ring – Full Colour. The defined 40 × 12mm front print area really supports full-colour crests without them losing definition. It’s a great way to keep your branding clear at arm’s length.
5-day UK supply: We keep the Whistle Torch Key Ring in the range because the UK-made route and 5-day express option are brilliant for tight deadlines. If you’re issuing these to new starters, it helps you ensure everyone gets the same high-quality item without delays.
Rechargeable aluminium carry: We chose the Tuffpro Mini Torch as a fantastic compact staff option because the aluminium body takes laser engraving really well, and the rechargeable setup cuts out the need for replacement batteries. With a stated 132 lumens, it’s a high-value item that performs well.
Engraved tool finish: For heavier daily use, we’d probably suggest the Tuffpro Pro Torch. The metal body and engraved branding wear like a tool, meaning it holds up much better to knocks and friction than a standard plastic option. It’s built to last.
Wide COB beam: We include the Aluminium COB LED Torch because the COB format throws a broader flood of light, which is really useful for close-up checks. It comes with push-button activation, a wrist strap, and 3 × AAA batteries, making it a complete, useful package for the recipient.
