At Steel City, we only recommend products we’d be happy to use ourselves. That means choosing eco keyrings that can handle the daily grind of pockets and keys without looking tired after a week.

Genuine eco materials: Sustainability is a real focus for us, so it’s important we don’t greenwash. We stick to materials like 100% recycled plastic, rPET, and certified/responsibly sourced bamboo. This means you can tell a clear story about your brand’s credentials without worrying about flimsy alternatives that might crack or splinter.
Clear branding areas: We know that curved or tiny keyrings can make logos hard to read. That’s why we prioritise models with defined print areas (like 50 × 25mm, 43 × 21mm, 40 × 15mm, 36 × 36mm, plus 33mm Ø and 21mm Ø) and single-position layouts. It ensures your logo, QR code, or link is clear and easy to spot, rather than getting lost.
The right branding method: We’ll always suggest the best branding method for the surface – whether that’s laser engraving for a permanent finish or full-colour print where you need impact. We want to avoid branding that rubs off or looks tired after a few weeks of sitting against metal keys.
Meeting your deadlines: We know lead times are a popular question. While we usually work to around 5-12 working days from proof approval, we do have products with 3-day and 5-day express options for when you’re up against the clock. We’ll always do our best to make it work so you aren’t left waiting.
Shapes that work day-to-day: We keep a mix of slim engraved pieces, high-visibility printed fobs, and tough recycled plastics because one size doesn’t fit all. Whether it’s for key IDs or just to carry around, we want to ensure the product is useful and lands well with the recipient, rather than being annoying to handle.
Reliable UK options: Where possible, we champion UK-made options. It gives you better traceability and reduces the worry of shipping delays. It’s about keeping control of the process and backing you every step of the way.
Specs you can rely on: We know the industry can be overwhelming with so many products available. We’ve set a minimum standard on material and quality so you can order with confidence. If you need something specific, our team can help narrow down the choices to find exactly what you need.

Large print panel: We recommend the Trolley Stick Key Ring because the 43 × 21mm branding area stays readable on a busy key set, where smaller logos might disappear. Its UK-made recycled plastic body takes daily knocks without the brittle feel you get from cheaper options.
Fast trolley token: We’ve included the Recycled Trolley Token Key Ring because it offers a clean 21mm Ø full-colour branding area and a 3-day express option for tight deadlines. That combination lets you issue a really useful everyday item without missing your event window.
Patina-ready engraving: Because coated bamboo keyrings can scuff, we chose the Bamboo Key Ring in certified bamboo so the surface wears in naturally. The engraved 30mm Ø branding stays crisp enough to read after being in a pocket, rather than looking like a faded surface print.
Deboss that doesn’t rub off: We specified the Porto rPET Rectangular Key Ring – Debossed with a debossed 50 × 25mm branding area because raised prints can chip when they rattle against keys. The rPET base keeps the keyring feeling premium – perfect for welcome packs – without you having to worry about durability.
A useful tool: We included the Essential Tyre Gauge Key Ring because a working tool is far more likely to be kept and used than a novelty shape. The 35 × 29mm full-colour branding area gives you space for a logo that stays visible while the gauge earns its place on someone’s keys.
Visible safety add-on: Our choice of the Plastic Whistle Key Ring comes from wanting a keyring you can spot quickly and trust not to snap off. The UK-made 100% recycled plastic body and bold 38mm Ø branding area hold up to handling, and the fittings make it easy to add to an existing key setup.
