When you put your logo on a jacket, you want it to be perceived as really good quality. We take the guesswork out of branded outerwear by picking jackets we’d actually wear ourselves, then matching the right branding method to the fabric. This ensures you don’t end up with wet seams, cracked prints, or a delivery that misses your date. It’s about doing the right thing up front so your team looks sharp and stays dry.
- Seam-sealed rain cover: It’s really important that the wearer stays comfortable, so we prioritise shells with fully taped seams. We always call out waterproof ratings (e.g., 5000mm-8000mm) because that’s what stops water pushing through stitch lines. This keeps shoulders and hood seams from wetting out when you’re outside for long spells.
- Zip-to-cuff wind block: Our softshell suggestions lean on windproof TPU membranes and bonded 2-layer/3-layer builds so the jacket actually cuts wind across the chest and arms. That means you can use it day-to-day on exposed sites without the “softshell” feeling like a thin layer that draughts through the zip and seams.
- Fabric-safe branding: We take a consultative approach to branding, choosing methods based on how the jacket fabric reacts—embroidery for fleece/softshells, and transfer printing for coated waterproof shells to avoid needle holes where it matters. This reduces lifted edges, cracked logos, and water finding its way in, ensuring the product lasts.
- Hardware that keeps working: We look for details like YKK zips, zip pockets, and hard-wearing pocket bags where the spec backs it up because cheap sliders and weak pocket linings fail first. This cuts down on broken zips and gaping pockets when you’re moving quickly, meaning the jacket can be used time and time again.
- Layers that match seasons: We include insulated pieces and 3-in-1 systems alongside shells and softshells, and we flag insulation types (synthetic fills like Primaloft®/Thermarator where applicable) so you can pick warmth properly. If your team spans indoor/outdoor work, this helps you avoid one jacket that leaves half the group sweating and the other half freezing.
- Recycled fabric clarity: Sustainability is a real priority, so we include recycled polyester/nylon options (including GRS-certified recycled nylon where stated) and we state the material content plainly so you can check it against your policy. It’s important we don’t greenwash, helping you avoid “eco” jackets that feel noisy or stiff.
- Lead-time you can plan: Lead time is a popular question, so we keep options that run from around 8-10 working days (from artwork approval) up to ~20 days for premium outdoor brands, because different factories move at different speeds. If you’ve got a fixed start date or event, this gives you a realistic route without rushing branding or settling for the wrong garment.

- Seam-taped wet-weather shell: We picked the The North Face Sangro Waterproof Jacket because the seam-sealed DryVent 2L shell and DWR finish keep rain from creeping in at stitch lines. If your team is outside for hours, this stops “waterproof” jackets turning heavy and damp, and brands like this always land well with the recipient.
- 3-layer windproof softshell: We recommend the Result Genuine Recycled Three Layer Printable Softshell Jacket because the windproof TPU mid-layer and 8000mm rating block wind chill and shrug off light rain better than thinner softshells. If you need one daily work jacket, this build avoids that cold draught feeling through the front zip and panels.
- Bag-ready packable waterproof: We chose the Elevate Kai GRS Recycled Jacket because the seam-sealed build and waterproof zips cut the two common failure points on packable jackets—leaks at seams and water pushing through the zip. If you’re commuting or travelling between sites, it stays easy to carry without being the jacket you leave behind.
- 3-in-1 temperature control: We picked the Regatta Defender III 3-in-1 Jacket because the taped-seam waterproof outer and zipped-in inner let you switch between wet-weather cover and warmth without buying two separate jackets. If your kit has to work across seasons, this stops you ending up with mismatched layers and gaps in your uniform.
- Gift-grade quilted finish: We recommend the Barbour Powell Quilted Jacket because the quilted build, fleece lining, 50g wadding, and two-way zip wear like proper retail outerwear rather than something that feels “promotional”.
