At Steel City, we know that when you put your logo on a product, you want it to be perceived as really good quality. We select our drawstring bags based on what will actually work for your event or campaign – avoiding the pitfalls of late approvals or materials that don’t land well with the client.
When you’re working to an event date or onboarding a team, our job is to use our expertise to ensure you get a product that lasts and doesn’t just get thrown away.
- Proof-first sign-off: We will always provide you with a visual proof before production – nothing goes to print without your approval. This ensures the artwork layout and positioning are exactly right, giving you peace of mind and avoiding any surprises when the boxes arrive.
- Fabric you can trust: If you wouldn’t use the product yourself, there’s no point putting your logo on it. Our team recommends a shortlist of fabrics – 210D polyester, cotton, recycled cotton + rPET blends, and rPET – because we know they hold their shape and take print beautifully. This ensures the bag feels substantial and reflects well on your brand, rather than looking like a disposable item.
- Print that fits your file: We take a consultative approach to your artwork. We’ll choose 1-colour or full-colour digital printing based on the file you supply, keeping print areas realistic (up to 300 x 220mm) to ensure clarity. We want your logo to stand out and look crisp, not get lost or cluttered.
- Corners that last: Usefulness is key. We prioritise bags with upgrades like reinforced corners, metal eyelets, and rope drawcords so they can handle the weight of daily life. This means the bag gets used time and time again – whether at the gym or on the commute – giving you more brand exposure.
- Honest eco materials: Sustainability is a real buzzword, but it’s important we don’t greenwash. We include recycled options with clear fibre breakdowns (including recycled cotton + rPET blends) so you have the full traceability of that product. This gives you a genuine story to tell your clients when they ask about your green credentials.
- Sizes that are actually useful: We typically suggest sizes around 420-460mm (H) x 330-360mm (W) because we know people need to carry real items – brochures, kits, or water bottles. A bag that actually fits day-to-day essentials is one that gets kept, rather than one that ends up in the bin.
- Consultative approach to customisation: We start with proven stock lines for speed and reliability, but we can go bespoke if your lead time allows. If a standard colour isn’t close enough to your brand guidelines, we can look at custom options to ensure you achieve exactly what you need.
