Does your team have what it takes to face The Great Escape Challenge?
Steel City Marketing is collaborating with The Great Escape – a real life escape room game based in Sheffield. The aim is to challenge teams of 4-6 to escape the Alcatraz Room in aid of The Children’s Hospital Charity. Each group will have to put their team working and problem solving skills to the test as well as raising money in support of this GREAT cause!
The challenge takes place from the 1st October until the 20th December 2015 and is open to businesses, organisations, colleges, sports clubs and societies alike. The cost to enter is £200 per team, with all proceeds after the £75 cost going to charity. Teams must consist of no more than 6 members, and individuals are prohibited from entering in more than one team. However, companies may enter as many teams as desired, and could even host their own in house competition with separate leader boards!
This is a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to get involved and help The Children’s Hospital whilst building on their team working skills and enjoying a spot of good old competition! Digital leader boards will be in place across The Great Escape’s website and social media channels so that entrants can keep track of who is in the lead, and will also feature a target chart to show how much money has been raised!
The aim is to reach one of the below targets in order to purchase the following for The Children’s Hospital:
- Consulting/Treatment Room: £5,000
- Height/Weight Room: £10,000
- Parent Sitting Room: £15,000
- Burns Outpatient Room: £20,000
- Bedroom: £25,000
Any stories of how money was raised to take part in The Great Escape challenge will be gladly received and shared.
Not only is this a great chance to raise money for a local charity, it is a brilliant, fun team building exercise. All escapees will receive a goodie bag as well as a certificate and photo to show off!
